So how does a food packaging machine work? Firstly, the food to be packaged is placed in special vacuum pouches or food vacuum bags. The front of the bag is placed in the correct area of the vacuum machine and the appliance will suck the air out of the vacuum bag until the machine recognises the air pressure has reached the cut off point. The machine then uses a vacuum sealer and seals the bag closed.
